I found this does a pretty decent job with a lot of grained images. Some images look ok with the grain and others need to lose it. This app can do that for you.

Frequent crashes & will not work with many common jpg files. When it does work it is great.

This app deals very well with skin and low-light areas, but applies the effect to the whole photo whether you want that or not, resulting in loss of detail. Their patented process (which again works very well) apparently includes blurring, which is a commonly used noise-reduction technique in other photo-editing apps. The problem is that there’s no way to select specific areas for processing. I used this to noise-reduce several low-light garden shots. At first glance, impressive, but the effect blurred details in the garden plants. Leaves, twigs, flowers and grass lost their sharp edges. This happens to varying degrees no matter which level of de-noising you choose. The app does a better job of de-noising than even my high-end photo-editing apps, but again, without being able to select, I pretty much can’t use it. One way to fix this without adding a selection tool would be to add a de-noising brush that can be used to process parts of a photo while leaving other parts un-touched. If such a tool were available, I’d use this app more often.

Don’t be fooled—read the reviews. This app does not have any support for raw files. It’s fine for what it does, but raw editing is what I need when it comes to removing noise-my JPGs have already had noise reduction in camera.

This is a piece of software that works better than most noise reduction plugins I have used. It is especially wonderful on low light photos that have the distracting color pixilation that software like Photoshop Elements can’t remove. Even on decent pics this software can make them just pop with clarity. Pros: Very easy and intuitive to use Cons: None that I have found so far. Works well in Sierra on my machine.

I spend more time with Macphun Email help then shooting pictures…I own their in APP purchases, I own the creative kit, aurora basic…pro..and 2017…as well as Luminar…Im in hook line and sinker. Please dont invest until you are sure all these great photo editing tools work with your apple…They crash everyday/alday and you need to reinstall OS X to get you computer working…please heed my warning…Phone support has been disconnected

Application that acts on blur

It’s often been said that you can only get as good a picture as what you shoot. But Noiseless blows that theorem out of the water. It’s the best of its kind. In fact, it may be the only app of its kind, and it’s bailed me out more than once when I had a grainy photo, especially from a scan of an old negative. It will soften the image a bit, but, of course, as with most things in photography, it’s all a trade-off one way or another. You just need to play with the controls to find the happy medium that works best for you. Bottom line: It’s more than worth the money.

Used to work great. Now it crashes on Sierra every time. Reached out to devs, said they are working on it. I am patient but I don’t want anyone spending $ on something that will crash right out of the gate. The are aware of the problem and replied quickly. Hope they fix it is as quickly. It’s been a week.

Echoing another reviewer, be warned that the current version of this program is NOT compatible with MacOS Sierra (10.12). It crashes every time. Hopefully they get this fixed, as it’s a decent program when working.

Noiseless stopped working after upgrading to MacOS Sierra. I would advise you to wait until a fix is issued before buying if you are on Sierra.

Finally works with Sierra, and it works great. It denoises beautifully and like magic. I like how it gives you a wide range of control over how much noise reduction you want. However, note that if you want support for RAW files, you have to purchase a different Noiseless CK version. The description for the app says “all popular image formats”, but this does not mean RAW. So please read the reviews carefully before you buy if you expect to use with RAW. I would give it 5 stars if the app description clearly stated that this version of Noiseless does not support RAW as I think that it can be potentially misleading. Otherwise, this is an invaluable app.

I PURCHSED THIS APP AND 3 OTHERS A WHILE AGO. I WAS ABLE TO SAVE MY PICS IN JPG FORMAT, THEN AFTER A FEW MONTHS OR SO I WASN’T ABLE TO. NOW IT SAYS I HAVE TO PAY 4.99 ON TOP OF THE $17.99 I ALREADY PAID?! I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO PAY MORE? AND IF I PAY THE $4.99 MORE IF I HAVE TO PAY THAT EVERY TIME I WANT TO SAVE MY PICTURES?
