Not like the advertised photo

The photo ‘before’ and ‘after’ they show in the description is definitely not an accuratate depiction of the results that can be achieved on your own. I did not find the app to be any better than the usual noise reduction. The ‘After’ photo looks cartoonish and over-edited. The app freezes and locks up my entire Mac. I’m going to call the 18€ a loss, and uninstall after one day of use.

Not for serious work

No RAW support, poor ajustment tools, no masking. Good for iPhone/iPad or cheap compact cameras only.

Great - but needs improvement on the workflow

Great powerfull app but it needs improvements on the workflow. Currently I need to export the file and them confirms I dont want to save the modifications once I open another. Would be nice to be able to drag and drop into the app even if there is already an image there. (you can drag and drop to the app icon on the dock). Also, the JPEG format is annoying because it wont save over a .jpg image and make a duplicate with the jpeg extension. (work around: renamed all .jpg to .jpeg with automator). I was able to speed up the workflow when working from folders by renaming all files to .jpeg and by setting default opening app to Noiseless (right click, get info, set "open with" app, change all) This is the “lite” version, Macphun sells the pro version on there website that supports raw files and Ls/Ps plugins. I would prefer to be able to buy the pro versions of there software on the mac App store. A bundle of all there apps would be a plus. The app doesnt support “edit in” from Apple photo app, but its because the photo app doesn’t support any customization for external applications (hello Apple? wake up!) Macphun needs to make an update so the app doesnt spawn constantly for us to rate it on the app store...

SnapHeal - Noiseless

I loved all MacPhun products working in iPhoto - but then Apple changed to Photos and it does not work seamlessly any more. One has to export the picture then import into Snapheal or Noiseless then save it to iPhoto and then move it back to Photos. It is a long process and not very efficient. Sorry about that. I really used to like your products. Am not sure whether I want to buy Intensify if it has the same problems.

The extension for El Capitan doesn’t fully work yet!

One of the best feature offered by this app that motivated me to purchase it was the extension for El Capitan. But I was disapointed to learn that the filters and work you do on your photos with this app doesn’t show in Photos for IOS (iphone, iPad)! Since the iCloud and sync capabilities of Photos is the core and crucial functionality of Photos (as opposed to the old iPhotos) then if Noiseless promotes that it can be used as an extension, then the edited work must be shown across multiple devices… but that is not the reality. If MacPhun fix that, I will change my ratings, because other than that the app is very good.

Quality lost when saving

Looking only at the preview you’d think this was a fantastic extension; however when saving back to Photos.app significant quality is lost in the final image. Noiseless Preview needs to be compared to the final image. Preferences would also be nice.

No RAW Support

Title says it all. No Raw support unless you go to company’s website to purchase an upgrade for another $30. Can’t even buy it as an in-app purchase, which appears to be limited to bulk processing. Wish I had read the comments on the old version first. Disappointing overall.

Great! Does work as a plug-in with Photos app!

Weirdly, doesn’t list it as a feature - but it does do its thing from within the Photos app itself. And it does its thing really well.

not worth it!

It just blurred photos, I wouldn’t call this as noise improvement. It maybe an awesome app if price was like 2 Euros or something. But it is too expensive for what app provides, sorry

No support for Photos app

Promising app, but cannot use it, as all other MacPhun apps, as it doesn’t support Photos app.

Be wary of spam advertising from Macphun

If you buy this app, the author will spam you with notifications to buy their other products. For instance, I just received a notification promoting their Aurora HDR Pro software, allegedly "for free," but when you actually give them your email address and try to download it, its just a demo version and priced nearly twice what the same apps sells for here in the App Store. Im unintalling all of these Macphun apps, and I regret ever giving them my email address.

Keeps Crashing!!!

Will give it a better rating but the software keeps crashing and restarting my macbook pro with 8GB ram…tried on my new imac with 32gb and it crashed twice.

Feel Ripped Off

BEWARE Noiseless does not open RAW files. Can not upgrade except through their web site. Stay away from this developer.

Does exactly what it says.

I bought Noiseless as an add-on for Lightroom. I’ve never been overly impressed with Lightrooms noise reduction adjustments and with every version I kept hoping for some sort of “auto” button to give me a starting point. Noiseless (I did upgrade to Pro to get the round-trip editing for Lightroom) does just that. It’s pretty simple and very effective.

It is probably the most useful app you ever buy.

There is obviously the overload of editing programs on Mac, plus Photos does a good job for the average photographer. BUT this app does something unique and is definitely a must have. It simply makes noise dissapper and works great with my iPhone photos. I have already fixed tons fo hopeless photos that I would otherwise simply delete. Works especially great with portraits and night shots. Thumbs up to Noiseless!

Best standalone NR tool

Best noise reduction software I have tried. I am using a Late 2009 27" iMac (Core i5 2.66GHz, 16gb of RAM) and I did notice a slight increase in speed after the latest update. The new batch processing is also pretty handy, but it is an addon through in app purchasing.

noiseless

for what it does, the app serves. saves alot of time over correcting noisey phone pics. i’m often going back and forth between noiseless and photoshop. I highly recommend for quick fix it.

Best of breed

Does an excellent job and has quite a nice variety of noise reducing options

Great for smartphones & the Batch feature is super-cool

Having two teenage kids, I take a lot of photos at parties, in our house, etc. because I carry my smartphone everywhere. I read about this app on a news site (ephotozine?) and thought I’d give it a try. Wow! First of all, when I zoom in on my iPhone, sometimes that causes noise that I want to clean up. Plus, taking photos indoors, the iPhone doesn’t always do the best job. Noiseless works great for those situations. But I was really blown away by the new batch feature - it’s really easy to just “point" Noiseless at a folder and let it do it’s thing. THEN, I’ll have a look and see which photos to edit further or share. I’ve been a fan of Macphun for awhile - they make great apps - but am really impressed with how well they thought through the batch feature in Noiseless. I would recommend this app.
